The Sahelian Financing Company (SAHFI SA) is a financial institution with a banking character, created under the approval number 0140/ME/CCE/DGECA/DMCE of June 14, 2005, by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Niger, following a compliance opinion from the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO).
SAHFI SA was born from the joint initiative of the State of Niger and the European Union. It is a structure created to sustain the mission of a Project for the Support and Monitoring of Nigerien Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, which originated from the partnership between the Nigerien government and the European Commission.
The current capital of SAHFI SA amounts to 3,624,500,000 FCFA, fully paid up.
